Scout Walker

<This is based on the All Terrain Scout Transport used by the imperial forces in the star wars universe and was built using a modified INT4 star wars mini rig toy> from a few years ago and inspired by the drawing below by Joe Johnston of a concept design for the above vehicle. The model has just been unearthed by me as well as a few more which we'll look at soon.

Aside from the head the rest is kitbashed and scratchbuilt from sheet styrene. Due to it's less than glamorous storage in a bin bag it's missing a few parts that will have to be made from scratch but it's just minor parts so shouldn't take too long.

 Republic Star Destroyer

A present I got for christmas and the first real model kit i've had a go at for few years.  It's a lovely big kit with nice detail and engraved panel lines which does make a big difference compared to the kits of old with raised panel lines.

And this is what it looks like put together>

The Oo-Ta Goo-Ta

This is based on a ship design that I saw in a star wars roleplaying book called 'Galaxy Guide 6 - Tramp Freighters' a few years ago.  The book was used with the star wars role playing game and was filled with pictures and details about all manner of transport ships from the star wars universe, some known, some unknown and unique to this book.  My model is based on one of the unknown ships called the Oo-Ta Goo-Ta which is a Modified CEC YT-1320 owned by a Rhodian named Chordak.

I started this model a few years ago and then put it in a bag and forgot about it until now. The model is based around the cut-away mpc Millenium Falcon kit.  After ressurecting the model i've had to reconstruct it a fair amount as it was falling to bits and have got this far>

Baudo Class Star Yacht

This ship also comes from the same star wars Tramp Freighters book and i'd like to give a big thank you to Admiral at colonialchrome for his helpful research. (Told you i'd give you a mention)

It is built from sheet styrene and is not from naboo.

Blaster Pistol

At work i'm always finding bits and pieces that I could use and last week I found a couple of bits including another toner cartridge (love those things) and a little gun type thing for tagging clothes in shops and decided to stick them together with Dr Who's sonic screwdriver and came up with this...

It'll look a lot better when it's finished and painted.  In fact it'll look something like this>

To be continued......
